The house is a fine, stone built double fronted property constructed in 1920, it has a slate roof and many original period features including some fine stone mullioned windows. Situated a very short walk from Grindleford train station with trains to Sheffield and Manchester the property is tucked away and approached up a private tarmac driveway leading to an area of off road parking and garage. A stone terrace to the front of the house leads to the front door.

Ground floor: The front door is half glazed with inset stained glass and opens into a tiled entrance lobby which leads to a lovely bright entrance hall with parquet flooring, a staircase leading to the first floor and a large cloakroom with fitted coat-hooks and a cloakroom with W.C. off. To the left is the drawing room with wide bay window overlooking the front garden and open fireplace with wood surround, stone slips and hearth. Opposite is the large dual aspect dining room with wide bay window and French doors opening onto the side garden. Riverside

A five-bar gate opens off the private road into a tarmac driveway leading to the a gravelled area of parking to the front of the house and carrying on round to the rear driveway with further parking. The house has been extensively modernised over the last few years and features extremely light and spacious reception spaces together with ample bedroom accommodation for a family.
